Getting started with Peasy.com - Complete control over pricing
You maintain control of how much Peasy.com costs by deciding the minimum and maximum reward value as a percentage of your invoice.
We present your customers with a dynamically reducing reward, so the quicker your customer pays, the bigger his reward.
Simply raise the invoice, Peasy handles everything else – and uses behavioural science to maximise the opportunity of you getting paid early.
There’s no administration required, and no risk. And unlike settlement discounts, your customers can’t pay late and still take the reward!
Remember, the bigger the reward, the more likely your customers will pay early. You can test response rates of your customers and adjust accordingly, although our AI will learn behaviours and recommend the optimum values.
You can also decrease the value of your rewards as your cashflow improves, or increase them during promotions.
Every industry differs but as a general rule, to get started, we recommend using 6% rewards for customers who pay immediately and 2.5% rewards for payments paying by the due date.

Can't I offer my customers a settlement discount myself instead of offering Peasy.com rewards?
You can – but customers will typically pay late and still take the discount. If you decide to pursue it you risk upsetting your customer – and if you accept it, you end up raising credit notes and all the admin that goes alongside it. Why not let Peasy.com run the process for you? It’s simpler, reduces conflict and creates a better relationship – all for a similar cost. And what’s more, you’ll be surprised at how many of your customers will want to pay immediately.
If you’re offering a discount that isn’t tied into how quickly your customer pays, despite their best assurances, you could be giving away cash without receiving the benefit you’ve agreed. Rewards can be redeemed by whoever is authorised within the business to do so. Avios can be drawn into multiple accounts.
For suppliers: Nothing 🙂
Unless customers pay early, or within terms! In which case it’s whatever percentage of the invoice value you’ve decided to allocate for rewards. Once you’ve signed up, you simply input two values – one for immediate payment, the other for payment within terms. We do the rest.
Eg: You might allow 6% if someone pays within 48 hours, or just 1% if they pay by 30 days. Our algorithms drop the values without warning in between the 2 periods, and whatever the value awarded is at the point your customer pays, is invoiced to you, and converted directly into rewards for your customer.
You’ll also receive rewards for paying us promptly!
Top tip: The higher you set your reward value, the more likely your customer is to put your invoice at the top of the pile for early payment.
COVID-19 tip: If you’re worried your customer is unlikely to make any payments, perhaps you should look to just recoup some income. In these extraordinary circumstances, even a 50%+ reward for immediate payment is attractive for both parties.

Our team of advisors have all agreed that no tax is due on reward points, however, we recommend recipients check with their own accountants to be sure.

Customers see rewards as pending immediately after an invoice is paid within terms. Once the supplier has paid for them, the rewards are available for transfer to Avios or donation to charity.
In cases where suppliers delay inputting payments to their accounting software, Peasy.com may be unaware of receipt, so delays may be incurred, although rewards will always be dated when payment is received, not posted.

The higher the reward values – the more responsive customers are to paying early. We recommend 6% for immediate payment and 2% for payment within terms – but different industries and sectors will find their own sweet spot. If the cash isn’t coming in quicker, increase the rewards value.
Top tip: When cashflow’s good, reduce the reward, when it tightens, increase it!
Paying early – or even within terms – earns Avios which can either be transferred to a personal Avios account or donated to charity. If the offer isn’t attractive enough to incentivise early payment, the value needs to be increased. If a customer’s unable to pay due to cashflow issues, Peasy.com can help them too!
Absolutely. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) means more businesses are taking their responsibility to charities (and the environment) more seriously. As Peasy.com allows the value of rewards to be donated directly to charity, their prompt payment can have a direct benefit on the causes we support.
